No that isn’t correct. No one gets saved and the next day are completely sin free forever. People have habits that literally take time to walk away from. It’s a walk with Christ, pick up your cross and carry it. Any man that says he is sin free boasts and is a liar that’s why our salvation isn’t based on our works. This is the kind of teaching that makes people new to Christianity walk away from it. they sin and instead of confessing their sin and pushing forward they walk away ashamed and feeling they are lost. This is NOT a license to sin however even the apostle Paul wrote about the struggle of sin and if he wasn’t saved I don’t know who is. People need to very carefully choose who they listen to as there are wolves put among the sheep who will lead them to fall away from the faith because they feel they already lost the battles.

I am a Pentecostal preacher. I got thrown out of the movement in the 70s when I realized dispensationalism and the pre-trib rapture (a/k/a The Great Escape) were hooey. Now the statute of limitations is running out on this heresy and people are thinking and rejecting it. I never could understand how faithful saints suffering persecution for Jesus were willing to give up their inheritance to people who hated Him. Now it is finally turning. However, it may lead to WW3 in the mean time and Christians being persecuted for being responsible for it.

All Israel WILL be saved. But Israel is the true church. Abraham's lineage is the sons of his faith, not the sons of his flesh. Otherwise, God owes an apology to the people slain doing an orgy around the golden calf.

I think the Kingdom of God being like leaven is talking about how it affects and changes the person who believes from the inside out. I'm glad that you focused on the idea of being "born again" since that is really what Jesus is getting at here. The reason why John the Baptist is considered the greatest of those "born of women" since, according to Luke 1:15, he was the only human born with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb! (We tend to forget this about John) and the reason why he is considered less than the "least in the Kingdom" is because those "in the Kingdom" are without sin (He that is born of God is without sin 1John 3:9) The New Creation is without sin and cannot sin. CANNOT sin.

No. If anyone understood that the Messiah was NOT going to be a political or temporal ruler, it was John. Remember, he is the only other human born with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb. No, John the Baptist was on an entirely different level than you or me. He understood Jesus's figurative language and understood what Jesus meant when he told His disciples to tell John about His miracles instead of political things when asked if He was the One.

My take on what you said a year ago. All of Israel will be saved to confusing. Here my take Jesus said not all of Israel is Israel. Meaning only the Jews in Christ will be saved. When the rapture happens or the start of the tribulation that will be the end of the age of grace. No body will be saved there no tribulation saints none. Revelations was written by an unknown John that did not call him self Apostle John. So as they say in the land down under. Revelation goes into the bin. Plus Romans 9:27 27 Isaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: A remnant shall be saved. A remnant of gentiles will be saved. Hate to burst your bubble but. Many are picked but few are chosen. Perhaps you should look up the definition of remnant and few. Many Christian think they are saved but going to Hell. How come you ask. These were saved Hebrew Christians who, because of intense threats and persecution for their faith in Christ, were contemplating going back to living under the law and Old Testament sacrifices. The author of Hebrews is telling them there is potential for doing so. You don’t lose your salvation, you can leave it, willfully turn from it, or walk away from it, which still has the same effect as losing your salvation, but describes it in better terminology. For Judas , reference Matt. 10:19-20, Holy Spirit in him, and Acts 1: 25, fell by transgression. So many pastors, preachers, and teachers get this passage all wrong.
