My mom used to tell a story about this as a lesson on communication. At her church, the pastor and music director always worked together to make the Sunday services. When the pastor retired, the new guy came and was not accustomed to working with anyone and so did not consult the MD. His sermon was all about taking all the sinful things on earth and throwing them in the river; things like booze, porn, gambling, etc. He ended it and as always, the choir sang. This time, they sang "Shall We Gather At the River"... you know, the river they just threw all the booze and porn into. LOL

Leslie Jordan I know God loved ❤ you! You will never see this because you are gone now hopefully in heaven. I didn’t realize you could sing so well! I didn’t know you, but I know how hard you made me laugh! You were an incredible talent funny and musically gift! You were and are loved missed!
