Pricing is a perennial problem for all businesses. I started working for a sign shop back in the late nineties. That guy tried charging based on his costs. He would charge double his materials cost, as a rule of thumb. At the time, it seemed to be a competitive rate. I'm not sure how well that would work today. It seems like it might not be enough.

Hi. I’m having problems with R-tape leaving bubbles after being stored. I’ve tried AT75 and AT65. This leads to the customer getting bubbles in their decals when they apply them. Any ideas? I do send them rolled up but I thought that’s how everyone does it.

So is this saying that clear transfer tape shouldn’t be used on glass? Paper transfer tape is better for glass?

To avoid any chance of trapped air, always start squeegeeing from the center and squeegee in both directions center out. keep your overlap at one half of the squeegee width.

I have been using Rtape Comform 4075RLA for years. It works great on almost all projects.

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing your experience and techniques. I think I’m going to get one of these cutters on Amazon Prime Day. I was hoping that it was not still loud, but I see that it is. Oh well… I can deal with the sound if I’m going to be saving some money and still get a quality 24 inch vinyl cutter. Again, thank you!

I use a lil chiseler to remove vinyl ....with little chance of damage to the surface.
