I tried this epoxy fix and it broke again the first time I opened the lid. I rummaged around and found some sheet metal of just the right thickness and stiffness. I cut and formed a couple of small U shaped pieces that I slid over the the corners of the lid beside the hinge. To my amazement this worked! I also lubed the hinges with some silicon spray.

My laptop also came apart after a few months, i only opened and closed it as a normal laptop, not one flip it over still came apart. Couldn’t find my receipt, called HP £380, i took it to local shop £60 fixed. Now i have it open on a desk never close it.

i do the opposite, ever since i saw my hp 360 started to show signs of a loose hinge, i stopped opening it completely lol bought a new laptop instead

Use a hair dryer on the left and right edges. Much easier to open.

It will cause more damage pag di mo na fix yung hinge mismo. Common problem yan ng x360 models. Mine got fixed by applying some wd40 and recalibrated it. I use pioneer instant glue for the broken nuts.
