Thanks for this Bob! I particularly like the way you deal with stakeholders, perspectives and criteria. For anyone wanting to break out of linear thinking in evaluation design, this is surely a good place to start!

Yes that's exactly the point I raise when people tell me that they cannot do this stuff. I tell them that they do it all the time - the difference is that this approach opens up those tacit decisions for scrutiny and critique.
