Does the trophy 🏆 on PS5 for Sonic Origins Turn into Super Sonic count for different hedgehogs or is only allowed for Sonic to be able to get that trophy

honestly, like Shadow would say, the "damn" chaos emerald was the 4th one, it took me quite a few attempts to win the special stage (also the White and Red checkered pattern reminds me of Casino Night, for some reason)

The get 10 S Rank trophies I found a way to get it super easy. Just repeat a mission you got an S rank in 10 times and poof it pops the trophy. Found out that one farming for coins for another trophy lol

I would attempt this plat IF they patched the game. At launch the mini-games didn't work like they did before.

When I was a goofy kid, I used to give these stages nicknames based on what the colors reminded me of 1. Pizza 2. Sea turtle 4. Peppermint 5. Stu's tie (Stu from Rugrats, it's somewhat close to the colors of his necktie) 6. Sailor (it's kinda the colors of a usual sailor uniform) 7. Jester I skipped 3 cuz I didn't give that one a nickname. Wasn't sure what it looked like. Welp, there's no time like the present to name it! I'mma call it the Flan stage

I just realized that the Blue Sphere stages from Sonic 3 & Knuckles use an interesting optical illusion. Ostensibly, you're walking across a giant 3D sphere in them, but the distance you can cover in them until you loop back around is far too short to possibly be set on a real sphere--its clearly a torus (donut shaped) sphere (or, in the most technical sense, a 2D square map that just loops you around)--BUT when you turn around to the left or right, the game still treats it like you're walking on a sphere instead of revealing what should be a giant ring you're traversing, but the transition is quick enough to disguise this shift in mass, time and space. In other words, the stages are checkered donuts visually projected onto a fake-3D sphere. Its a really jarring brain teaser, to say the least!

I find it way easier here than in Mania

loved playing the sonic games as a kid but absolutely hated the special stages. i could never beat them and my cousin did it for me.

special stage 1: easy special stage 2: easy special stage 3: sorta... easy special stage 4: easy if you get the hang of it, I guess? special stage 5: oh jeesh. special stage 6: living hell special stage 7: eh

These gave me intense trouble, but they were fun to play. Still, that infamous speed change catches me off guard in certain points which can cause me to accidentally hit a red sphere and negate my progress in that special stage. >:(

It's a shame you can't get all rings AND all Chaos Emeralds since the stage ends when you get the Emerald. Or can you?
