From the same titled last album of the Cure when they made great music. You felt with that one they reached a limit of darkness and hopelessness in their music and lyrics so I guess I understand that they changed after Pornography but it then ceased to be the band I loved so much. They were actually my first experience of a live concert, playing in local school gym hall half empty, just after they had released 17 Seconds and it was phenomenal. Then came Faith, then Pornography and then they were done.

Robert didn’t play his Fender 6-string on this song, It’s a National Newport Val-PRO 88, a guitar he used on a big bulk of songs on ”Prayer Tour” and the festival tour they did in 1990.

All these recordings sound like Robert used a octaver pedal as you can clearly hear higher and lower notes played at exactly the same time. I have a Bass VI and can tell you he wouldn't simply be playing two strings an octave apart. The thing is, I can't find any mention of this anywhere.
