you dont need hiking shoes like that, they are actualy very bad for normal paths like Rota vicentina...use normal trekking running shoes...thank me later 😄

Really cool video. Thnx. We are doing, by coincidence, an Epic Overland which will include Kasane to Nata, to Kubu Island (Sua Pan), Gweta, Bains Boababs (Nxai Pan), Khumaga Camp (Makgadikadi Pans) then Moremi, Savuti, Chobe River front etc etc in a Bushlore 4x4 CruCAM in Sept 2022. Did you need a detailed Map for any of these Sections ? Where could/should I look or are the Entrance Gates able to assist or supply ? Admit to not being very experienced with Garmin and GPS etc and not overwhelmed with confidence. Thnx 4 N E input.

The digital maps were easy to work with and contained the smallest tracks in the parks. Very useful.

Your pictures really capture the aesthetic of the seashore. I appreciate the drone shots. Did you do any free camping?

Great video - thanks! I've booked my ticket and will be doing the Historical Way (and a bit of the Fisherman's Way) in April. Love the pics - what camera do you use? Cheers!

This is a great video - you need to do the same thing in Zim - it'll be fantastic - April/May, as the colours in the bush change. Thank you for this though, brilliant!

Great little vid , congratulations :) , im thinking of doing this in autumn 2019, wondering what your average pack weight is as looks like you have a respectable backpack inventory . Im guessing i may carry personally around 14kg, 15kg max on occasion

Hi, my gf and I were in Botswana last year (2017) and did a very similar route to this one. You need to book well in advance to get permits and campsites. We booked in October for the following June and had an amazing trip!
