reefer guys think your job’s easier, huh ) You don’t run at night. We cover as many miles in 10 days as you do in a month. We pull up to chicken farms that stink so bad, if a regular person stepped foot there once, they’d never touch a chicken sandwich again. We hit egg plants where they’ll keep you locked in your cab for hours. We park in places like Florida, New York, Boston, downtown Chicago-where the warehouses were built back when America was just getting started, and they’re barely good enough for a box truck. And yet, somehow, everyone hates us. Even though reefers are hauling all the food that those step deck, flatbed, and even lowboy guys are eating. And strapping down hazmat loads in the Texas heat ! Yeah, I wouldn’t say that’s “easy.” But this spring, I decided I’m gonna get myself a step deck. That’s why I’m watching your channel, buddy 😂

My idea on your deck plate ; Being a welder/fabrication guy for two decades and a machinist for 5 years before that. My 2 cents : drill the frame holes bigger and use a urathane bushing over the original bolts. Everything will look exactly the same on the outside, but now the frame can twist / flex a bit without pinching and shearing the bolts. 🤷 Might work. Edit: another trucking channel I watch is Bonehead Truckers. 😂 For good laughs 😂
