I always enjoy your videos. Walk and talk and maybe stopping and showing something is good. It doesn't need to be "exciting" just what you find of interest. Looking forward to more!

I'm not far away in Roi et Province, i live in a small village about 25km from Roi et city. I would urge anyone interested in seeing the real Thailand, rather than a poolside bar, to travel to the province's. There are small motels everywhere, we have three around our village! The motels are chalet style establishments with a configuration like a hotel room, main room, bathroom and some have a kitchenette. You can fly, or take a bus from Bangkok, and the buses go between cities. We're about 3 hours away from the Laos border and the Mekong River at Mukdahan and there are plenty of temples old and new to see. I've been to Khon Kaen a couple of times, once to buy a pick up and recently to attend a wedding, unfortunately I haven't stayed long enough to to go into tourist mode!

Binondo is actually much bigger than you've shown. You should have crossed the bridge with the Chinatown sign, there are more food stalls/restaurants there. People usually go to Chinatown for food.

At these times, just many fun websites to learn basic Japanese. I’m learning a bit of writing for fun at a website and I just use my finger to trace the letters of Hiragana , etc., not trying for fluency just for any little bit for fun.

When you came through the airport to Japan, did you need proof of your vaccination? I have taken them in the past, but I wondered if I should take my paper plus I guess people aren’t wearing mask anymore. That’s fine with me. If I was sick, I wouldn’t travel What’s the best place to find information about that for the most recent information? Would it be the airline you fly on or the Japanese consulate or what please I enjoyed your walking video, I want to go to Japan as a layover on the way to Malaysia hopefully.
@taoistvikingАй бұрын
thanks for watching! and I went to 10 different countries in 2023 and not one was for proof of vaccination at any point 👍 so you should be good to go
@enjoystravelingАй бұрын
@@taoistviking thanks for your quick answer, and I will also look at the websites just for the latest information. Glad to hear travel was easy for you in 2023 at least in regards no proof need it for vaccination
I like how the town has nice wide sidewalks for walkers, I wish they had that in more United States cities

Did you exchange currencies at the airport? If so how much do you think is enough for similar to your journey? I have a 10 hrs layover in Narita.
@taoistviking3 ай бұрын
thanks for watching 😊 I withdrew cash from an ATM at the airport. I have a Charles Schwab investor checking ATM card (no ATM fees and no foreign transaction fees) i always remind people that if you use an ATM they'll offer to do a conversion fee via the ATM - but they always overcharge you - your bank usually won't charge as much, or at all depending on your bank. if you would prefer to use a currency exchange service I would recommend doing it at the airport. it might be faster than trying to find a convenient one in Narita. I spent around $32 USD (including: locker at the airport, round trip train ticket, sushi, 1 saki, ramen and 1 beer). maybe take out a little more cash if you plan on buying souvenirs! have fun!

Heyy! Love your video! I am curious as to which station did you get off at to get to this place and was it the JR subway line?
@taoistviking4 ай бұрын
thanks for watching! I don't remember the station name or line, since this was a while ago. but it was the very first station from the airport. the station in the airport had pretty easy to understand maps 😊
I will give you credit for walking in that temperature, with an added bonus of humidity, guess its low season 2023. There are few places for Khao Soi in BKK as well. Great video.
