Actually they do it really successfully check Japan. Fully controlled nation of no will kamikaze nation. They destroy their individuality and personally from young ages brainwashing them that they are no one without their society and that they should always be thankful and giving to the society. And what ever they are asked they should do without any questions. Btw why the hell we keep those idiots as Ally they are enemy not an ally. Even worse Turkey who did genocide still denies the fact of it supports terrorists and so on was playing on both sides du for good ww2 and does the same thing even now is in nato or his other bro fully Muslim brainwashed Hungary his puppet why are they in nato please explain to me. Or parasitic leach israel who keep milking my country my nation and has agents in my government who claims that we Americans stand with israel. Wake up old idiot we Americans don’t stand with israel we don’t care about them at all. Where is cia why they aren’t hunting down those agents and deporting them to their israel? Or Britain weak country nowadays who tried to rule us whom we wiped out from our own land and country and declared independence why are they in nato ? They bring nothing only need us to survive while giving nothing in return. Why you adults have double standards always ? I’m 14 and I see your adult world and I’m like please I don’t wanna grow up. Cause you all are morons and messed up.

Orwell ironically didn't like the book much when he'd finished it as he felt it was too bleak. He wrote to a friend saying "It's a ghastly mess now, a good idea ruined, but of course I was seriously ill for 7 or 8 months of the time."

I sympathise more with Mond than John. But I recognise the fatal flaw in Mond’s world view - it’s essentially static. It can’t ever improve without affecting the perfectly conditioned society. It will never grow and it will never be able to adapt. It is doomed to one day perish.

This independency day I am grateful for the first amendment for the protections it gives over books. Without the first amendment we would not be able to enjoy many important books.

I don’t think we read the whole thing in school. I’m 42 now and still don’t completely understand the book. There are some simple themes that I understand, but not all. I recently tried to read it again, and found myself having to go over certain passages several times. Also, when I read, sometimes I can develop a completely different understanding of a book than what I was supposed to get out of it. It can be like a foreign language. So, I can learn or not learn something’s based on my own interpretation of a book. I really wanted to like this book, and I liked certain aspects, but not others. Maybe someday it will click.

You failed to see the point. Anyone that entered that was taken away was never seen again. They broke him in almost every single way except for his thought. Julia was part of big brother. He disnt get out. He knew after confussing his love for big brother he was going to be killed. His last final thought was seeing julia again. Scars on her face from the rats and thinking it was true love. She wasnt part of the part. After that thought is when they killed him in that room. The whole point was to convert the love of big brother in witch they think they did but in the end he still had his freedom of thought.

This is a very oversimplification of the novel, all of the symbolism in the book was left out of the video.

It's such a very scary dystopia to think about. But seeing it become a reality is even more terrifying.

The story is very unrealistic, the kids are so young and yet they easily hunt and decapitate a pig,to be able to cut through bone with that knive.the kids are also very rash and handle the idea of killing too well for kids.the writer of this book is trying to make kids look to savage

As a person who has read the book; this is INCREDIBLY accurate. Not a singular detail missed! Think one of my favorite missed parts of the story was where Aunt Polly was counting screws and Huck kept taking and replacing spoons.

I like the part where the cannibals say that the crew should go and kidnap one of the tribesmen and hand him over.. so that the cannibals can eat him… so obviously they think… uhh… no let’s not do that… but then they think…. Well actually… they do look kinda hungry 😐…….. and it all dawns on everyone at once that.. if you don’t come up with some other guy that these cannibals can eat… then they will probably eat you… 📖😬
