Just beat NieR automata. Holy crap. What a masterpiece. Kinda wished they added a chapter or two for A2s story instead of just shoving it into the novel section, but other than that, this might be one of the most perfect games I've ever played. Third playthrough was a wonder.

Everytime I hear that song from Lies of P, I remember that Lies of P (for me) has the best setting/theme of any souls. I really like the grimy cities at night, the conversation with the silhouette of the lady in the window as a side quest... It was refreshing because well it gets tiresome to navigate complex convoluted lore in FromSoft games

I've been playing games since late 2009 (born in '03 so yeah), but my top 10 is actually somewhat similar: 1- Outer Wilds 2- Elden Ring 3- Nier Automata 4- Monster Hunter World 5- Persona 3 Reload 6- Xenoblade Chronicles 7- Hollow Knight 8- Final Fantasy VII (Remake and Intergrade, just the whole of FFVII) 9- Celeste 10- Yakuza 0 (I also really want to mention Disco Elysium and Chrono Trigger both of which I haven't gotten around to finishing just yet) I tried limiting myself to one game from each franchise/developers as well.
