It actually is great, my only gripe is they just missed the delicate balance. Vol 2 and 3 had some over top craziness with a good mix of some realistic gameplay sprinkled in. I don't think any streetball game past 2 and 3 ever hit that balance .

Psn name at the time was Atlanta Trap/Ghettonightmare/Socrunk was 5th on the leaderboard. The game ran on credits you get after beating folks online, there was a glitch in the system that would take away credits. Def Jam Icon was fully on gamebreaking glitches. The casual player it would probably take them 3 to 6 minutes to finish a fight. I would beat people in less than a minute. What many didnt understand is the taunts boost your damage along with switching the song gives you speed boost. Taunt three times then heavy attack and you will do double damage, quad damage if you taunt three times normal attack then stick attack. Muay fly and Ghettoblaster were the strongest styles in that game.

@KiingMooGaming yes the game had stuff like that. Going to def Jam online years ago everyone would fight the way you would see in the trailers. Throwing them into hazards to do turntable. There is a major exploit that requires Lil Jons - Get crunk song and Paul walls sittin sideways music that has a lot of beat in it. When you throw someone into a hazard spot while get crunk plays you want to hold down the turntable button. Being near the opponent. They will get stuck in the hazard spot and continue to be hit by the hazard spot. This would be one of the dirtiest ways to end a fight online. But the op move is knocking your opponent down, taunt three times and flicking the attack stick down as your opponent gets up. It is super cheap but ends fights in less than an minute.
