I bet his tie did cost more than a hundred bucks! How rude David was, sometimes! I never really liked him, only watched when someone I liked was on. His top ten's were mediocre! JMHO.....

I remember watching this all those years ago and thinking that Letterman was being cruel to Richard. Now that Richard is gone, it just makes me sad.
@The1dart1Ай бұрын
Yeah it seems like he was cruel. But they were really good friends. Richard Simmons was a guest a few times on David Letterman’s show. He was just teasing Richard. And I think Richard knew it.

Poor Richard! All he was trying to communicate is that 3 foods that need 3 different cook times could be set to be done at once. And the flavors don't mix. That's it!

Technology has really advanced with ear buds instead of corded headphones and Joe Biden's tiny prototype bionic brain 🧠. It doesn't have balance control, stage exit GPS direction, still reads script directions like (pause), and has hard drive memory loss.

The show became too big. Doesnt have the intimacy it once did. The applause for each kid ruins it. Before , there was an air of awkward Tension and discomfort. Too bad, it was a good show in the beginning. And, that Chenney reference, really? DL is such a leftist.
