I was in Perth when I was 23yo, than I moved to Sydney for a year. I left Australia in 2016 and year after year I wish to move permanent residency to Australia. Now I am 30yo. Hope that’s not to late.

Perth is not the city to live in if you need someone else to entertain you. The population is very outdoorsy and family orientated so most things cater for that lifestyle which doesn't appeal to young people who want the wild side of life which is the crux of most complaints. However if your heavily in to outdoor sports, diving, boating, picnics, strolls along the beach on sunset or in to being up close to nature the city is hard to beat. As to being too Isolated, maybe to other Australian cities but not to the rest of the world. In that regard, Perth leaves the east coast in it's wake.
