you have summed up Perth to a T just a couple of random ads Perth is a Police city compared to Melb, Syd, Brizzy and Adillaid Perth is a big country town, if you Poop a job there getting another is a task Perth locals dislike anyone from the East, no matter how long you stay But and this was Proved during CoVeena while Borders were closed Summer or Winter, no one tops WA for all season holiday options. So vast is this state you can choose what climate you want all year long!!!

You summed up exactly what I thought about commenting towards the end :) - some of the cons are essentially pro's for those who are not so much old - but maturing into 30+ and appreciate the pace of life in Perth not being so frantic and stressful. It's certainly a place to put down roots and settle if that is your goal. I would definitely point out that by extension of what you mentioned about the day trips etc that the ability to leave the city so easily and retreat to a quiet place to camp and enjoy nature for so much of the year is also such a plus for the outdoors people.

I thought your house looked beautiful before but the reno makes it look like a dream and even more beautiful! It reminds me of the bathrooms at the nice hotels in Thailand haha. Also, I had an editing question if you don't mind answering... Do you use Canva to edit your videos or still use Final Cut Pro? I use iMovie but want to transition to Canva but not sure if you recommend if you do!

1. Get a Bicycle. 2. Yeah, rents are hard... will take years to get some normality back into the rent system. 3. "If you're not a fan of hot and dry weather".... LoL... I didn't know that was a thing...! (See comment further down about CLIMATE). In all reality, the really hot days are few and far between... usually temps of 27 to 33 are awesome... but the warm barmy evenings are awesome. 4. Friends... could be a thing i guess. 5. Boring... if people think Perth is boring, it probably says more about the person than Perth. There is massive amounts going on these days... absolutely every weekend and week day...and if you need a city to give you things to do all the time, maybe you need to look around at yourself and make some changes... get some interests and hobbies. (Great way to meet new friends also) 6. Opening hours... there are plenty of grocery shops open 24/7, just do you research (24/7 IGA), and what is not, will be open shortly after 9am on a Sunday. Not everything has to be open 24/7. 7. Perth's climate is classed as MEDITERRANEAN... so if you hate the type of climate everyone raves about in the Greek islands, then you'll hate Perth climate...! 8. Getting around Perth is easy, and contrary to your thoughts, public transport is pretty dam good for major routes at least... but as I said before, get a BIKE if you don't drive 9. In the cooler months, take trips out to Toodyay, York, Beverley and places out in the Wheat Belt... the countryside is beautiful and many great spots just waiting to be discovered... awesome country bakeries and restaurants / pubs. 10. Food scene has definitely improved out of sight in the last ten years. Coffee is definitely better in Perth, and restaurants with good prices are easy to find... I hear a lot of horror stories about modern Melbourne. 11. There's 2.5 million people in Perth, if it was placed in the USA it would be the 4th largest city in the USA... it is NOT small and you don't bump into friends all the time... that is a silly myth. 12. The life style of ANY city is down to the person... if a person has little individuality and relies on a city to provide, then I guess they could see less going on in Perth. Yes, Perth can be slower... but that's the beauty of Perth... it is simple to go slow and if you want a fast rat race, we now have that also...!
