How do you prevent the tree from getting ill by fungus? Bark is the shield to be protected from the fungi.

Isaac my friend, this is extremely powerful! We should stand strong together and challenge this messed up system, and not celebrate it, as the government wants us to do. Racist Canada and its unconscionable laws must be stopped. When the day come, where we will challenge this racist system, I will be standing with all our brothers and sisters to bring it to its knees.

Hi Shane, the deal is share the resources $$, no problem, stop making payments and you leave, like when you stop paying rent or a mortgage. Yes, its forever, we can survive with you and the $$, we did it before your ancestors were here.

Not really. Beforehand he's talking about assessing the tree first to see if it's a good one to harvest, which is part of the process.

OMG !!! Don’t you know or even care about the damage your doing to this tree? I had to stop watching your video immediately it has no value what so ever. Be responsible and ethical. I’m not even going to tell you what that thing your calling a growth really is people like you take what you want selfishly without ensuring the health of these amazing living trees that give us life.

wa wa wa go stop the logging, like first nations do in bc we stopped so much logging if we wernt here i know they would of took it all we are really trying to do good to be stewards of the land dont worry like he said it will survive and there are trillions left.
@rodblomley85174 жыл бұрын
Easy to stop work when you dont have to worry where your next meal is coming from, loggers harvest but are under strict rules on how the forest is left and leave it clean and ready for replanting , they work to keep everyone else going ,they love the forest as much as anyone!!!!
@pizzagroom62214 жыл бұрын
@@rodblomley8517 Lol I think the point is that logging kills more tress than removing bark from 1/5 of one tree
@rodblomley85174 жыл бұрын
@@pizzagroom6221 the point I was making was more to the protester/caretaker of the earth, was instead of making a canoe for whatever reason ,it is easy to stand in the way of the loggers and shut them down when it is THEIR money from logging thatpays the way , regardless of the trees they cut down,which will be replanted and the forest is kept in good shape, protesters contribute nothing!!!
@rodblomley85174 жыл бұрын
I thought you would think that, my point is even tho logging does take a block of wood, they do replant and take care of the woods yet supply work and income for a lot of people, more so than any protester, and I considered your point, I chose to rant instead

I'm sorry to see you take the bark from completely around the entire tree. That kills it.
@Beethovenvirus5 жыл бұрын
afaik if you can remove only the bark and leave cambium alone, birch tree will survive. Easiest time to do this is during late spring when nights are still chilly but its pretty warm during the day and sap starts to move in the tree.
@alsinbad37722 жыл бұрын
@@Beethovenvirus No even if you leave the cambium alone, he girdled out all of phloems. The tree will die, just a matter of when

It makes me crazy when I hear IDIOTS scream , "you killed a tree"! wah, wah wah. Where in hell do they think their toilet paper come from. The wood in their houses. Come on , they can't be that stupid , can they? Wheather it kills the tree or not , great video and instruction. You honor your ancestors by passing on this important knowledge. Pay no mind to ignorant people (whites?) who don't understand what real conservation is. Liked n subbed
@brianbergeron99946 жыл бұрын
As a white man I find it quite ignorant of you to make assumptions like this. Not all white people are as ignorant as you make them seem. I'm certainly not. If I were to take the bark from the tree and it dies then I know I will have firewood in the future. I'm not angry or complaining but I find it very senseless that you would speak poorly of an entire race.
@timothylongmore73256 жыл бұрын
Didn't mean to offend an entire race. Whites was in parenthisis followed by a question mark. I'm assuming it's white city folks making statements like that. oops I did it again , blaming city people. I should just say ignorant people (like me)
@timothylongmore73256 жыл бұрын
When is the best time to harvest bark? looks like late spring in the video. No tree hugging yuppie citidiots have found this vid yet , good. I hope you have made a canoe building video too. Very cool.

Why don't you tell us why they were taken? I'd gladly support if there was a story behind this. You can't just say "my kids were taken, please help" without letting us know why or for all we know maybe they should have been.

Hi there Dave! Tamara's partner, at the time, was involved in drugs. Tamara was busy with her 3 little boys & "didn't notice". He got arrested & the police took the kids. Basically, that's it. Tamara was not into drugs & was not arrested. She has been trying for 10 years to get her kids back, to no avail. They spent this past Christmas, 2 weeks, I think, with Tamara, Miah & Jeremiah, my Son, at their home. Miah is Jer & Tamara's daughter. Now you know Dave.

Im no longer with the dad and im happy she got her sons back. Now hopefully her sons n my 2 daughters will know they have half siblings out there. Just thought id should share what ive learned from the system and her ex partners story and his family told me. Theres way more to the story and I wish she would be brave and tell the truth. What ive heard makes sense for why they were taken n not brought back to the mom for years.
