Hello sweet Shelly. Just read your post on E-mail. Now, have heard this from the "horse's mouth" so to speak... Now with you in ASL, wish that I had learned it. (Old brain 🧠 can need more info at times until info sinks in.). You know? You know that I love and admire you. Well, the positive way that you are handling this "shitey development" just makes me both love you more and respect you more. I bet you set a trend and 75% of Canadians follow you. Plus look at all you will save in visits to a Salon! Crew cuts are in for so many and it is a sexy look you can pull off! Low resistance for swimming and no swim cap needed! Just think only 65% or so of Chemo patients lose their hair, you passed the test and do not have to repeat it. xxxxx

You’re so strong. I know when they found my tumour, I was admitted right away and had surgery two days later. It all happens very quickly. The aftermath was harder. I’m still dealing with it. Stay Strong. Like you said one day at a time.

Hello there precious, these words that you have explained do help us to begin to understand this healing path that you are on now. Thank you for sharing what they have found out so far. Your test results, as they come in, will paint a more clear picture. Shelly I have known that you are "a-cute" and advanced both, I could have told them that last week !!! Give me your word that you will not try to do too much, that rest and not getting any mean old germs will be your job for the next two weeks? With you now beginning to feel below par, with this cough, that you have now also, makes rest/sleep more important than ever. Do work to not let this stage in your healing pull you down. I understand the need right now for you to take an antibiotic, but something so necessary right now may harm you at later stages in your healing. From some medical research information that I've been reading, patients also have need of anti-fungal drugs. Things such as green tea, blueberries, etc. are a natural way to help you improve the important anti-fungal assistance to your other medicines. If you can, as I am sure you have done so far, continue to research any and all means to get you past these "not up to par feelings". All of us are searching for ways to be of help to you as you heal. The fact that you are being encouraged to eat things that you like, in order to keep you stronger, remember some foods are not the best for any of us to eat. Carbs and sugars are just two of the bad ones, as you know well. Adding the good fats, avocados being one, a good EVOO another, they are able to help our systems to use the awesome good things we get from eating unprocessed foods.
