I too like opaque bulbs outside and jewel tone inside. I was just thinking, Is that weird? 😆 Guess it’s not just me.

I just turn 67 years old, I was very weary that the trades were going away with the old generation, I am extremely glad that this new generation of woodworkers are taking this very rewarding trades, when you build anything it becomes your legacy to the world. Keep building, keep our woodworking skills alive.

A bit of advice from a picture framer…don’t use wire for hanging, use 2 d-rings (one on each side towards the top). It will then hang flat against the wall and it wont ever tilt.

Maybe you coverer it, but, are you using the stock air pump for air assist or do you have a air compressor connected for higher pressures? Great comparison

This kit is crazy overpriced just go to a supplehouse like Locke supply and buy your own pieces, you can buy 50 feet of snap lock in five foot sections for $80, and 6 inch adjustable 90’s are 3.00 lol

Stumbled across this 4 years after the fact. Did you consider soldering the cutter or is the metal too flimsy to take the heat?

That must hurt. I lost count on the number of times I got hurt just this past weekend. From hitting myself with a 5/pound hammer trying to knock out a ball joint to scratching my hand on the wall because the space I was working in was so tight. I feel your pain!

Love this project. We are going to make it this year. The stir stick holder is brilliant for the paste cans. I was wondering how I was going to get those installed.

Maybe I misunderstood what your mistake was with the gap between wall & upper boxes, but that is to be expected. If the base cabinet is level and the upper box is square, then there will almost always be a gap to shim & hide at the wall as walls are rarely perfectly plumb. Typically fixed by scribing an end panel to the wall to hide the gap.

you did a good job BUT it does not look like the same quality as a Hermes not even close but from someone who does not care or from far away it looks similar ,someone who can afford these can tell the difference but to those who are not a customer of Hermes or even want too be I can see being fine with it and not understanding why anyone would pay more when this looks the same but doesn't

This looks great. I built an Ana White miter station several years ago. Last June I disassembled it and my husband repurposed it in his garage. I had intentions of building a new one right away. But during that week I hurt my back. Other projects got in the way and I’m just getting started on building my new miter station. It really has sucked not having a home for things. This past weekend I built a rather large drill charging station/tool holder. It really has me motivated to get my build going. Thanks for the motivation.

On the subject of DPI, the larger the dot size the lower your DPI should be. If you run the DPI higher than the dot size allows you get each line burning slightly over the last, basically destroying the detail in the picture. Print samples in increasingly higher DPI staring from 100dpi with increment of say 50 dpi. Get a USB microscope if you can and then check at which dpi the lines only just touch. Do the test for each of your lenses. Your 2" lens will probably give you more detail at a lower DPI. On a personal note, it's a pleasure looking at closeups of your hands. On so many youtubers and especially laser videos, people haven't cut their nails in months, not to mention the dirt under those nails.
