Wait, wtf?? I am totally out of the loop here. I haven't ran the level in 9 or 10 years. I've tried the skip from a few years ago that involves jumping into a wall and clipping out of bounds, but this is totally different. When did this route come along?

The two main categories for speedrunning Halo is Easy and Legendary. If you don’t like Easy, Cambid has the classic Legendary record too 🙂

Pretty sure it’s easy difficulty but still a cool speedrun. Still nowhere near as enjoyable as legendary speedruns tho

can you explain why you didn't have to go to the hangar bay at the end of TaR?

The grenade jump in the hangar bay is what breaks the level and allows it to end early I believe.

@@marksman444 yes I was looking at other speedruns and it appears that the trigger for that final section is somewhere between the 1st and 2nd floors. How fascinating!
