I have no sympathy for people who don't have enough common sense to understand how pyramid schemes are a ripoff. Pampered Chef sells imported cookware made in Thailand where child labor laws are virtually nonexistent and the minimum wage is about $10 per day give or take based on the current exchange rate. That $165 imported saute pan listed on their website cost them $10 to $15 each. Walmart sells identical products made in the same atrocious sweatshops for $20 to $30 with a different brand name stamped on it.

Did you or anyone try the brick on top theory to see if the tool dug down more quickly? If so, did the tool bog down or burn through batteries? I have a bunch of soil that needs turning over and I'm debating renting something bigger vs taking longer to do with this tool or just using a shovel and rake and really getting the job done right. I own the Ryobi edger that goes with this same 18v one-plus batts and for my purposes it's great and in terms of the One-plus system I do like all of the one-plus options from vacuums to insect zappers, etc, that for a very reasonable cost you can use the batts for. I think Milwaukee or that level is where I'm headed on drills, saws, etc, but for "this" level of work, I'm digging (pun intended) the ryobi. Thx! Good call doing both the grass and pre-worked earth on camera - very helpful to see the difference.

I know it's a bit older of a video, but came across your video before purchasing and figured I'd offer some insight from a coffee drinker's standpoint. As far as exact temperature control, this is going to be a major benefit for coffee drinkers using pour-overs or aeropress brewing methods because the temperature that you want is going to vary based on the roast. For example, if you're using a dark roast...brewing at a lower temperature (I got to around 170-180) is going to take some bitterness out and allow the coffee to bloom a bit more. The timer function (which you can set anywhere from 3s to 5 minutes according to the manual) is going to be very useful for Aeropress users like myself. There is a "steep" time to account for and that's going to vary depending on roast and preference. It makes a huge difference and you'd be shocked how a short timeframe can change the end result (for one of the darker roasts I use, steeping for 1 minute vs 1 minute 30 seconds make a world of a difference). Not sure how much using the built in timer makes sense, but I'll test it out when the kettle arrives (I usually just use my phone). Last thing you touched on was the flow rate itself, when using a pour-over or aeropress you'll definitely want to evenly pour over the coffee and if you have too heavy of a flow it'll potentially create channels which will make pours inconsistent because some water may go through too quickly if there are channels that are created (which means it's not actually going to steep with the coffee). One other thing that is probably really only going to matter for specific people, but having a quick and easy C to F button makes things a lot easier when your wife comes from a country that uses C but I'm still used to F. Anyways, thanks for making the video. It gave me a good visual for size. Made a difference when deciding on a new kettle.

Really disappointed in Pampered chef, l wouldn't recommend buying anything from these people
