Interesting to see the differences between this and the standard saloons. Certainly a bit less chrome and a more utilitarian upholstery.

Engine sounded like a bag of spanners at one point so I’m glad you said the idle wasnt ideal . To my eye it’s a stunningly beautiful car , clearly there is that association with The Sweeney series which I grew up with . Cracking job sir 👌 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A very good, informative video. I have recently fitted a brand new cylinder head to my 1966 'BGT, but having watched this video, I have decided to take the car in to my trusted local garage, as I'm too cowardly to wave flames in the vicinity of the carburettors!

Hi just wondering why you have no spark shield on your grinders , you have gloves on to protect your hands but nothing to protect your eyes , having worked as a car body repairer even with glasses on sparks could get around prescription glasses so i would have used googles . i have a 53 series MM , a traveller and a series 3 jaguar sovereign

Hi Ian, thank you for your comment, about grinders with no guides, as the cutting dice get smaller the guide can obstruct my vision on the pavement that I'm cutting, Looking for a set of goggles that I can wear with glasses, and talk to the camera. In my last video, I tried a set of goggles, 3M have a set which I have on order 🕶👍 Nice collection of classic cars you have 👍

@@theflyingsquad4585 - Be great to see the Granada on road test Mark. My SA 3.0L Essex V6 ran rough when I got it as the importer said the carb was set up for a lot hotter climate. Engines out now so will look to sort the carb adjustment once its ready to go back in - probably in a few years time looking at my slow progress! Pete.
