One of my favorite songs Randy sings.🎶

Willie wrote just 12 lines and those 12 lines tell a complete story without any embellishment. I have to wonder how autobiographical it is. What a marvelous and subtle story. I think it fits so many of us, though you'd have to change Music to something else. For me, it's a computer. I hope you can see yourself in the story, friends.

Mr. Travis I want to thank you for introducing me to country music back in the 80s when I was only a child. What a road we have traveled since then.
@davidhallows30293 жыл бұрын
It was written by Wayne Carson. It does it quite alot of justice singing it as well. For it not to get airplay on country radio is just further evidence of how far in the toilet country radio has gone.

If I could have one wish, it would be to sing half as well as Randy.

Willie did record it before Randy, but neither of them wrote it. So technically it is just a song that both recorded.

@doloresguyer44663 жыл бұрын
Read his book Forever and Ever, Amen. It will help you to understand why that happened a little easier. Sad really. We are all human and fallible. Such a shame that one of the most distinctive and moving voices had to become silent due to a massive stroke. But Randy left a massive catalog of amazing timeless music. That we will always be able to listen to, whenever we feel the need to hear his singing. Looking at the short time ago that you posted your comment, I just want to give you a heads up, that next month you can pre-order the 35th Anniversary Edition of Storms of life, which is to include some never before released material that Randy had recorded. It goes on sale in Sept. So if you return to this page I hope you scroll down and see my post.
