I saw them on their 94 unledded tour in BOSTON, saw them again on this tour in Boston as well, then I went to see Page and the Black Crowe’s on their tour in Worcester Mass at the Centrum, to our amazement JOE PERRY from A-Smith came out and played the LEMON SONG and OH WELL from Fleetwood Mac with page and the Crowe’s, one of the best shows I ever saw

These clips are the early and late show at the '71 Schaefer music festival in Central Park New York. This was during the summer of that year. (Duane changed his shirt for the late show.)

Please, somebody knows the other musicians? Is that the same crew than 3rd Degree? Thanxs. The Doctor knows how to sing the blues and rolls his ivory the same. Some Nola style fit very well, to me. ( and these MusicMan amps really sound).

Holy Smokes! Thanks for uploading this Gem! Saw the good Doctor open for Tom Petty at Jazzfest the year they both passed. We thought the show was going to be cancelled due to an extremely bad thunderstorm that rolled through N.O. on that morning. We took refuge in a café and thought we were going to drown and blow away. The storm passed, clouds cleared, and gates opened in the sunshine. Made it into the fairgrounds in time to catch the Doctor pouring his soul into the piano for a set and then make a humble exit only to have Tom come pour his soul into the guitar and mic. Good times. We miss those times and great artists and common agreement that we are all there for a good time and enjoy great music. Saw the Doctor on many occasions but none as special as that day. He knew his time was short. They both knew and we were only left with the amazing memories of that special place and time.

Saw Dickie and GS play a snowbound blizzard show for fifteen or so of us in Northern Virginia about twenty some years back, they played it like a private party, for two hours. Played hard, any song they or we wanted to hear or play. Hung out with us, danced and jammed. The best show I've ever seen. What a great dude, and everyone in the band was into it and awesomely cool. It was a great party. I'll never ever forget.
