Hi, what is the detail at the front of the bottom horizontal panel. This is regarding the long niche. Did you use end cap? How will water drain effectively?

Its not actual tile or stone but was still so close to looking nice until you stuck in that plastic niche. Why would anyone put in all thay work to make the part of your shower that's supposed to look up scale and custom a plastic insert

That hole you cut for the shower valve is to small how do you get cover plate screws in?

you installed all the durock with the back facing out except 1 piece but it will work for the panels you put up

Worth it to use Wedi board or something behind it. And I would have used A LOT more adhesive on those panels. Like a lot more.

Corian is waterproof and comes in 60" wide eliminating the one seam in the middle of the back wall. There are other plastic or man made walls that are waterproof. I have a shower and bath walls 60" wide made of acrylic that were installed in 1986 and still in good shape.

Whenever those new building products come to market, only time will tell how long they will last. Typically, the lifetime warranties aren't worth the paper they are printed on.
