Would this work for text and diagrams in a screenshare? Like if I'm looking at a subset of a diagram with text on it, would it find parts of other videos where I'm looking at the same part of the diagram for example?

i think that would require a bit of fine-tuning. we don't currently capture other modalities in the same latent space. Audio & text is disregarded. if this is a use case you'd want a fine-tuned model on however email us info at mixpeek dot com

Very cool mate! How does the vuse model compare to GCP Gemini embeddings (assuming you’ve tried it)?

yes! Vertex is great but a couple things: a) we've noticed it doesn't capture context as well (they may be doing frame embeddings, while we do motion) b) we're truly cloud agnostic (everything is dockerized so it can deploy anywhere) c) fine-tuning is part of our offering, with mixpeek you can send annotations to a bucket and we'll spin up fine-tuning jobs: docs.mixpeek.com/introduction/models#fine-tuning

@@mixpeek can I use this to find instances where the exact video is shared online, because some times I have files without audio and it would be helpful if i can run it and it brings me to a website hosting the video and it has audio. this would also be beneficial to people with lost media. can this do that?

@@mixpeek im gonna be honest and say, I dont understand how this works, because you showed that you found a similarity in another video, what if I have a clip and I need the full video, can it potentially find the full video-- from a clip.
