Hello, that was vegetable tanned cow hide, approximately 1.2mm thick, thank you😁😁😁

@@derekhackert4585 since this is a relatively smaller item, I would suggest use smaller chisel along with thinner threads, the outcome will be more delicate.

Can make lots of money from scrap leather! I use a circle punch to cut 1" rounds for earrings.
