Rockstar started out with a 1000 ideas. It grew into 10,000 idea's. Most of them were good idea's and were approved for production. The "release date" started getting close, and they had to start abandoning things. IF Rockstar had another 2 years to work on this, 1. It would've been the all time greatest game known to man for the next 20 years. All the things like this, and others (like the Mysterious hill house, mysteries surrounding the night people and those from Butcher Creek and their water & the cave people), would've had deeper stories and more content to explain them. Plus, expanding the map. If you've been outside the map, you'd know there's as much landscape outside the map as their is in the existing play area. But #2. They wouldn't have made as much money, because the 2 years of overhead tacked onto the 8 years they already had. This, like everything else, always boils down to money. If I was a billionaire, I'd buy the RDR rights. And let them spend another 5 years remaking RDR2. I'd have them fill in the blanks and rewrite everything from chapter 4 to the end. Allow players to be 1 of 4 different characters. I'd eliminate that whole Guarma chapter. In fact, In chapter 4 or 5, I make it so that Dutch & Micah decide to join forces with Colm. Hosea & Arthur (and a few others like Charles, John, uncle, Sadie & a couple of the women) leave Dutch's game. The rest of the game would be Hosea's gang vs Dutch & Colms gang. Dutch takes over either Braithwaite's or Grays mansions. Hosea and Arthur take over hanging dog ranch. Hosea's gang wants to stop being outlaws, but Dutch won't leave them alone. That "chip on his shoulder." So they go to war with each other.

With all this we can probably be happy to know that because of the workflow changes and etc etc at rockstar something like this wont happen with future games. Even though GTA VI is not even out yet it has a lot of scrapped content. Since it was supposed to play in the past with three protagonists and around the americas. They presumably scrapped this and started work on what we have now around 2020.

The final version game is incredible, one of my favorites of all the times. It is interesting to learn about the whole cut content of the game, to many details, out of bounds areas, hidden maps, etc. At the same time, it makes me feel sad that no matter how many theories we can create, they never will confirmed, rockstar is never interested in provide details of his games development. The game is awesome, but realize that the whole removed content, good content actually, the fact that we never know why this content were deleted and know the game could be even better with that content it is a little sad. Well, I think I have to remember that besides of that the game is a master piece :)
