Close to street fighting, minus eye gouging. Rules make for a better spectacle, MMA have it about right, the other traditional martial arts are a mess, especially WTF TKD. Better move to K1/MT type rules, and then off the floor and into the ring with MMA rules for the traditional arts to grow up.

Why was this called a Kung Fu tournament? No Kung Fu involved here, this was a brawling, what would happen in the street.
@johncasarino56272 ай бұрын
kung fu is mostly this, most forms of kung fu/okinawan karate/mauy boran/silat are in actuality rough and tumble strike-grappling hybrid systems, and it is only if these people have been in a very large amount of bouts that their kung fu will look neat like in demonstrations, same goes for boxing and mauy thai, it's only the higher levels that can implement the more graceful aspects of their art, and higher levels in truth means high success rate in accumulative live bouts, those who do not fight or have only a few never actually get good at anything approaching 'fighting' or 'kung fu/wushu'
