Of all the mentorship programs available in the market, VK IAS is the worst. I don't understand why he charges 53k. There are far better institutes offering foundation courses for half the price. He is the worst mentor to have. He lacks conceptual clarity in most subjects, which is evident from his failure to conduct any live sessions with students that I know of. He is probably the only mentor in the market who doesn't offer live sessions. His notes were inadequate, lacking templates, flow charts, and filled with errors. I would rather have donated that 53k to someone in need than waste it on this useless individual. He is a master at gaslighting students. He can't take feedback positively. As soon as you share your feedback, he comes up with screenshots of your test performance and starts pointing out your mistakes. Most of the time, he doesn't even reply to your texts. You can't charge 53k just for providing NCERT PDFs and notes and then ignore texts as well. He has removed the 'comment' option on his Telegram posts, so cheated students can't even share their experiences to warn others about falling into his mentorship trap. He is only good at HIGHLIGHTING NEWSPAPER ARTICLES; HE SHOULD JUST STICK TO THAT.

Sir firstly congratulations for your mentorship results🎉 I didn't understand about current affairs part. So are the toppers suggesting that one should read the newspaper and then come back to your channel to see if they are on track or one can solely rely on your channel for current affairs? (Because I read somewhat conflicting suggestion from another one of your students) Wouldn't it be better to not refer any newspaper and solely rely on your repository for current affairs? (Asking for 2025 attempt)

Those who are a part of the mentorship programs will have structured deliverables which can reduce the time. Those who just want to use the public resources have used in multiple ways. The ideal way would be to keep on reading the daily posts ( Focus on the quality rather than numerical quantity- Be consistent! We are not into the business of breaking news! so use the resources with end exam POV to save yourself from content overload) Some people preferred to stick just to channel and some people used other magazines ( as they came to know about the channel somewhere in between their year ) and used it as a value add. I hope that clarifies your doubt.
