THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE EPISODES ☹️ I absolutely love how they show us how much Polnareff was grieving for both Avdol and Sherry. The prompt/trope where one person has to accept their loved one’s death after putting up tons of fight and struggled with it always leave me bawling.

Also, I want to point out a little fun fact, in the manga, Kakyoin was much, much more excited to see the dog on the ferris wheel at the start. I don’t know why they removed that part though, it was my favorite, and it adds the fun to Kakyoin’s character even just a little bit^^

As sad as that scene is, Avdol never giving up on Polnareff, Kakyoin's denial of Avdol's death, and Polnareff's revealing why he fights alone is one of the greatest moments in JoJo's. Three key character developments shown within a couple ofminutes. Still brings me to tears. Rest in peace, Avdol 🔥

Bit late, but put simply, Askin's "Death Dealing" allows him to control how much of a substance it would take to kill you. I'm sure you've read the back of a medicine bottle and seen its "lethal dose", essentially, the amount of that particular subtance would kill you. That's why we have overdose warnings. Lethal dosages exist for anything, even water (for example, drinking too much water will kill you). The Death Dealing allows Askin to change that amount at will for ANY substance. In Nimaiya's case, he lowered the lethal dosage of the blood in his body, meaning that Nimaiya had TOO MUCH blood in his body and was slowly being killed because of that. That's why Nimaiya started bleeding himself out, to get back under the lethal dosage. It's not limited to blood, he can control the dosages of things like oxygen, even spiritual pressure. It's a crazy powerful ability.

I know there are so many things that he could have done. As soon as he saw Dio was alive he should have tried to kill him bc he knows how crazy/dangerous he is! But I get that he was caught off guard and surprised that Dio even survived
