I'll be honest, placing any of these in any tier was difficult. All of these maps are good except for maybe Dragon's Pass but still. And yeah mortar spam and UCAVs. Lumphini just has a ton of bottle necks it feels like

I don't think modern shooters are not popular anymore, I mean there's a TON of them out there. CoD, Delta Force, BF, PUBG, too many to list. However, I do want the next Battlefield game to be good. I want the franchise to revitalize itself because one day bf4 servers are going to be bare. BF1 servers will one day be sadly empty. So I'm hoping some team of devs bring back the magic but I'm not optimistic

Most people I've gotten to download the game have had to make some kind of fix, I know I did when first playing it on PC but once you get it fixed it works great. Look up some youtube videos, or maybe I should post one. I forget what the exact fix is though :/

Pearl market is cool with its elevation focus. Lockers however, can die. Inside it's dark and chokepointy, outside is just a perma-flashbang, especially if you want to shoot inside from the outside. Literally unplayable.

You can't tell me Locker 500% doesn't bring back memories. And Pearl Market is honestly one of the better close quarters map. Biggest problem with the larger maps in current meta is everyone plays engineer, and if you're too good at the game, the teams get auto balanced and you end up with teammates who don't know how to use vehicles properly or play the objective. So one side just dominates.

Sadly, the people who made the GOATS have moved on and been replaced with DEI hires or people with master degrees in marketing and don't really love gaming. They look at the algorithm of what drains the most money from the player base and push go. And with the newer generation's attention span deficit there's not as many people who want to play to get good and hone their skills. They want the junk food of SBMM to let them have fun for a bit, spend money on a ridiculous skin, maintain their 1.0 k/d and move on. Core player bases are no longer catered to sadly. but yes, do NOT pre-order. I'm with ya

We always have hope but i definitely wouldn't be surprised. I'd rather it be a complete flop or raving success. Make the franchise sink or swim.

In some games like Apex Legends and several from the "sweet baby" group are overtly woke. Even in 2042, dice learned their lesson about being political because the media tried to get them to say that the natural disasters in the world of 2042 was because of global warming but they refused to link it to politics which was great. But for Battlefield and other triple A games that aren't woke on the face of their games, are still suffering from not hiring based on merit and hiring solely based on minority status and its hurting the industry really bad.

@liamwilliams6651 ya know, you may have just brought something to my attention I didn't even recognize. I love vehicles and tanks but all my good streaks and exciting gameplay is mostly infantry cause it looks good on KZbin. I still like the infantry focused maps but ill try to run more tanks and LAVs and not just focus on the infantry as much(i can't keep a helicopter in the air for more than 30 seconds anyways though lol)

@Hitchagood I'm not even a bad pilot and even I struggle to stay in the air since the only people who play now are veterans so the pilots I'm up against still dog shit on me hahaha. Also feels like everyone plays engineer these days when back in the day assault was the most popular class.

It's criminally in the game lol but seriously... I guess the biggest thing is how lop sided the matches are. I feel like only snipers and LAV drivers are the only ones who have fun on this map. May be missing something though

From what I've found, there's still a few TDM servers for me (PC East Coast) but they aren't always populated. You gotta catch them on a weekend or hop in while they're filling up. Some servers stay full on TDM but it's like Locker 24/7

Actually found one last night! It was a Banzore server I believe, but all matters where you live. I'm east coast and you can find it in some rotations but it's kinda rare

Tons of them run it on PS4/5 servers I play it all the time

@@rusty9428 yeah thats why golmud deserves D tier, its only for vehicle combat, playing infantry is impossible unless you use the 40x and even then you will die at random

Just focus on the A and B flags at the top and dip down to C tier. those buildings provide a pretty dang fun play area

Vehicles separately never was an unique feature of BF. Vehicle and infantry interactions probably, but not a single map in A/B tier have success in this case. The S maps good at what they were designed (infantry-focused gameplay), A/B maps failed at what they were designed (vehicles+infantry interactions), zavod from s by the way prob the best when it comes to vehicles + infantry interactions.

I'm gonna say this in the next video in the most southern "ZAVAWD" accent I can muster lol

Haven't seen it quite as much on pearl but definitely agree on Flood Zone. It'd be nice to get a squad together, who's sole mission is to harassment ucav spammers lol

@Hitchagood I agree with the ucav not being as prominent on pearl but frag rounds from roof campers is majority of my deaths on that map
