What on earth are you babbling about. If your born in America to parents born on America you are American you may have a certain ancestry which can be said for every single American but you aren't Irish or English or anything else, your ancestors left their native countries a long time ago and became American, stop trying to be something else.

Do you know the vast majority of Irish immigrant families in America are actually Protestant. Not surprising really but you just wouldn't think it the way some of you "Irish" over there are so ignorant to this island you claim to love much and have so much hatred for the Protestant, Unionist people.

I think you are completely wrong about Irish immigrants were protestant, the Philadelphia area is loaded with Catholic Churchs. The majority are Irish parishioners. Again I couldn't tell you if I even know any Irish protestant around my area, just aren't any. My Irish protestant relatives were funny in that they wouldn't go to church, but we're very concerned if I went to church, which I did. This was in the '70s, they lived in Cresslough, northwest of Letterkenny.

Orange parades happen in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. This is the only proper demonstration in the Republic but is very much a traditional parade which is respected and respectful. The Battle of the Boyne had a wide ranging impact around the world and it's actually surprising it is not celebrated more around the world, I think there is so much ignorance to what this is actually about.
