How does that tram not have wires ?
@BrumRider Жыл бұрын
There is battery pack on the top of the first and last section.
@clems_first Жыл бұрын
In my country they also have trams with a section without rails. They use capacitors at the top of the tram and charge up between stations from between the tracks.

Maybe just learning. But, common sense doesn't come a miss either. As this rider doesn't know what common sense is. Needs to study the highway code more deeply!!!! Or at least find out where he can park legally without causing any obstruction no matter how minor it may seem. NOT!!! near tram lines. Or on Double yellows ......IDIOT!!!! Even i wouldn't do what this berk did.& never have. & i don't drive or ride sadly anymore due to health restrictions. But, i never would think of it. If i needed to park around the corner or away from double yellows & rails of any kind ( tram or train). I suppose some will think i am a know it all or some kind of smart arse. I don't care what others think. Just being sensible & safe & try to have respect for other types of traffic.

Reason it's called the metro, it's runs the majority of old railway line and short segments on streets

What has Birmingham City Council done to the city as it's a Disgrace? First of all they started with the Bullring shopping centre, and that looks like a glorified Greenhouse, and now this:and this is worse, and it will end up a white elephant as the General Public will Continue using the Trains to go from Wolverhampton to Birmingham

Ah the trolley buses were better - no tracks - only issue was drivers veering over to far and the trolley poles would unattach from the power lines
@davidbull7210 Жыл бұрын
I play all British tram videos at double speed, so I can pretend it's a proper European tramway, and not running at a snail's pace for fear of stupid people and lawyers. If only KZbin had a feature whereby you could make pedestrians look half their body size but with double the brain cell count, like they were before health and safety became a replacement for common sense and survival instinct.

like the country,the level of common sense has deteriorated,all that pavement area and he wants to park a foot away from a live track
@robtyman4281 Жыл бұрын
Edwin Turner - it's been painfully apparent since 2016. Strangely it coincided with the Referendum. People stopped engaging their brains......and started losing the plot instead. Now even basic common sense seems to evade many people. Along with civility, spacial awareness, and respect for others' property.

That just means they have a provisional licence. In the UK you can drive mopeds and motorbikes under a certain engine size without a full licence. Theoretically you could do this forever. Its not lack of experience, its just ignorance of best practices.

er.. but he's not "on the road" he's on a railway track . he has Right of Way and shouldn"t be expected to 'squeeze thru' gaps ..

And if you look on the road there are yellow dot safety markers marking out the safe distance from the tram where by vehicles should not be parked past these markers for safety, of which this delivery bloke has parked his scooter inside the safety zone.
@Alan-ln3ls Жыл бұрын
That tram driver will be obeying his instructions: not to proceed if something is parked within the clear zone marked by the dots.
@Alan-ln3ls Жыл бұрын
@@richardwoods5873 A delivery driver who obstructed the tram line in Croydon suggested exactly that. Duh. Then there was the young lady (again in Croydon) who parked foul of the line - two wheels on the kerb and two in the tramway - and returned to find that her car had been bounced off the track by bystanders, many of whom waited to enjoy her embarrassment on eventually returning to collect her car and ticket.
