I told my music teacher what song this was used on, and he said i was wrong. Then later the next day he said it was a show called adventure time, the show i said yesterday and he forgot.

When the song mentions “maybe by next summer we won’t have changed our tune”, I think of the boy I love that’s going to be a hs senior this next school year while I’ll be a college freshman. I’m hoping that still continue to be friends and get to share more memories together come a year from now :))

I’m confused as to why there’s two versions of the song. This one says cliff under a tea and has a few changed words. Did she like rewrite some parts for adventure time?

I believe this was the first version, perhaps a demo; then later the vocals were re-recorded with new lyrics. Don't remember where, but I think this first version dates from 2008.
