This movie strongly connects to the Indian subcontinent cultural values, anxieties and stories, which I'm afraid aren't accessible to a western audience . That would explain why you guys may not have liked it much. I loved it despite the believability (which btw rarely can be achieved in the horror genre) because it was such a thrilling watch and because stories of black magic are prevalent in our culture

i watched this in the theatres a couple months ago - and felt exactly like you - I did believe the plot and story had legs and potential to do so much better than it did, however, it is a not-so-bad attempt that I mildly enjoyed for sure, more at certain parts..AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE WHAT YOU GUYS DO WITH IT IN-HOUSE!!! As a horror/thriller fan especially when it's done good, i'd like to see how you change the writing and how far you go to make this one better - enough of the song and dance - please give us a horror movie this time as one of your celebrations!!!!!
