Doctor, why you do not use external fixatators? Aren't they are easier to adjust angles?

Dear Mr. Bekov, thank you for your question. Please see Mr. Khakha's answer below - I prefer to perform an acute correction using internal fixation as this is usually more acceptable to the patient and I am confident with my pre-operative planning that I can achieve the desired correction with this mode of correction. I also use intra-operative checks to make sure I have achieved the desired amount of correction and so far I have not needed to resort to using external fixation. Thanks for the question.
