The exaggerated so much about when Dan went behind Jeanette and just scared her with a boom, we do it all the time to friends we did it growing up everybody did it to everybody they just reached too much in this stupid documentary, and even Christy Stratton talking about oh he made me bend over and act like I was you know what, I saw her tell that story on another podcast and she changed the story and then all of a sudden she forgets what Dan said but she remembers everything when she was on quiet on set talking about it and all of a sudden she gets All Shook Up and almost as if she's breaking character I know it sounds screwed up but I am a huge doctor House Fan and when he says everybody lies, I know he means it because I don't care who it is on the good or the bad side, everybody lies and Schneider wasn't even warned about this documentary, he's not convicted of anything he's not in court for anything, and then they all of a sudden pull this on him I just don't buy into this whole thing dude it was a freaking hit job honestly, an Open Secret was a good documentary with actual information on what happens behind the set when it comes to the dark side of children's tv, not talking about pay differences and somebody dared me to eat ice cream and all of this bull crap, it just seems like a lot of feminists and almost social justice type of cancel culture narrative followers that were on the documentary, most of if not all the big name stars have not even come out to say anything

Although it bears a 1981 copyright - which means nothing cos many films are copyrighted earlier or later than their production year - it was apparently filmed in 1979. This is borne out by the shot of a movie marquee showing The Amityville Horror. And the fashions and disco music.

LYRICS: It'll be a hot sun in the sky tonight So you better be ready to fight When the heat is on Put your heart to the max You gotta get crazy Now I know this sounds like another song But stealing copyright is wrong So the time is now Gotta kill or be killed You gotta get loony Though you ain't no maniac You could be my zaniac Now the chorus 'Cause this scene, it must be filled Not a maniac Not a zaniac But a zaniac for sure Got a spatula like you've never seen before A potato sack For my zaniac You won't need the (?) no more This is nothing like that song you heard before Tomorrow's here and today's gonna come (?) and here comes the sun We're too far now There's no looking back You gotta get crazy Now I (?) inside and there's no time to quit My love contained, it's time to commit Now let's do that brace for the chorus again 'Cause this montage is boring You may think you know the song But stealing copyright is wrong Man, this scene is really gone Not a maniac Not a zaniac But a zaniac for sure Got a spatula like you've never seen before A potato sack For my zaniac You won't need the (?) no more This is nothing like that song you heard before Not a maniac Not a zaniac But a zaniac for sure Got a spatula like you've never seen before A potato sack For my zaniac You won't need the (?) no more This is nothing like that song you heard before Yeah, yeah Whooooooa, yeah Whooooooa, yeah yeah Whooooooa, yeah Whooooooa, yeah Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Yeah yeah, whooooooa Yeah, yeah Yeah yeah, whooooooa

I have this on DVD but the quality is so bad I gave up about halfway through. It did seem like a pretty interesting film. I hope Vinegar Syndrome or Severin picks this up and puts it out. I'd love to see it in a version that's watchable

I've been down the Nickelodeon gossip rabbit hole for a while. There's a lot more evidence than this documentary covered. That Dan Schneider interview was so completely scripted and produced by himself. The truth is out there, follow the feet!

At the end where you bring up the fact dan was a meme in the internet for his creepy behavior, but it took this docu to make him be accountable is insane.

Also, do you notice that Prine in 'Centerfold Girls' looks a bit like Malcolm McDowell in that middle section of 'A Clockwork Orange' when Alex is released back into polite society?
@theunsweetkarmaway8 ай бұрын
My title preference for your third film has always been 'Barn of the Naked Dead.' I remember seeing this film in an old VHS warehouse store when I was in college, that weird and creepy painting, and I snatched it up at once. Something about this crazy title with Andrew Prine as the star and Alan Rudolph listed as director just cracked me up. This is an underrated masterpiece that needs a restored Blu-Ray if it doesn't have one already.
@blackmariallc8 ай бұрын
Yeah, love that title. I have an older DVD of it with that title and artwork somewhere. I believe Kino Lorber reissued it on Blu-ray under the Terror Circus title a couple years ago.
