Battle of Evermore. 11. Whole Lotta Love. 12. Fool In The Rain. 13. Wanton Song. 14. Black Dog 15. Immigrant Song 16. Ramble On 17. That's The Way 18. The Ocean....they have lots of great songs that are inherently hard as hell to rank.

For me "Goodbye Cruel World", "Stop!", "Vera", "Don't Leave Me Now", "Empty Spaces" and "Is There Anybody Out There?" would all be way higher in the rank... They are very short songs, but in my opinion way better than "Another Brick In The Wall Pt.2" and "Young Lust" for example.

Nice work putting together this list, thanks ! -) ... like many others I would add Meddle ... I just think that PF 1970s output (Big 5) is almost unparalleled in modern music, in terms of beauty, meaning, inventiveness, and yes, those funky and gospel vibes that keep surfacing -)

don’t get me wrong: I absolutely love meddle, and not only for Echoes alone. but it’s nowhere near the level of iconicity and relevance that every 73-79 album have. Though Meddle is so good, they’re just another category. I love it, One of These Days is a stone cold classic and its PULSE version is out of this world, absolutely phenomenal. But the big Four as albums are simply in another League to me

this clearly explains how The Wall is at the bottom of the PF top four. The "big four" in my opinion is divided into "the greatest two" (DSoTM, Animals) and "the great two" (WYWH, The Wall)

It’s a very nice solo. And with “Breathe”, it could easily have been much higher but ,with the amount of great songs that these four albums have, it made it very difficult to have it over the others

That is a hot take. I don’t think it’s overrated, it’s a great song that gets the rating it deserves, in my opinion. However, there are many more songs by Pink Floyd that deserve to be rated much high by critics, and music fans in general, than another brick pt. 2
