È stato un anno terribile. Non faccio in tempo a trascrivere questa canzone per dedicarla a mamma, che pochi mesi dopo viene a mancare anche mio padre. It's been a terrible year. I don't have time to transcribe this song to dedicate it to my mother, who a few months later my father also passes away.

Fantastic cover. I love Starless and this cover is beautiful and close to my heart. You're extremely talented and sensitive musician/artist.👍❤

Your words struck me (in a positive sense), they make me understand that I managed to do something that makes someone happy. It's nice that you used the words musician and artist. The scarcity of stars in everyday life can depress even the most sensitive. Being able to paint in a "starless" sky is a challenge.

Very cool indeed! Before seeing the film I didn't give Barrios much consideration. But then I understood. Segovia was a great performer, Barrios an original composer. I found it wise to make excerpts, to allow those who know little about the artist to understand him better.

It truly is a classic. I've heard that the riff was created by the keyboardist at the age of something between 13 and 16 (as in, I've seen different people confidently asserting each of 13, 14, 15, and 16). Do you know the truth of that?
@hello2all-SimoneBovo Жыл бұрын
He composed the synth-riff of "Take On Me", when he was only 15 years old.... This is what the composer stated in an interview (have a look on wiki)

Beautiful interpretation of this great Dixie Dregs classic. I’m wondering if you needed to multitrack the piano in order to cover both melody and accompaniment? Pleasant surprise to find this today!
@hello2all-SimoneBovo Жыл бұрын
I created the transcription for a guitar (arpeggios) and a flute (melody). All the sounds you hear are midi, loaded onto a multitrack. Track 1 - Arpeggios Track 2 - Melody Track 3 - Melody (one octave higher) Track 4 - electric bass Track 5 - Strings I could copy it onto a two-handed piano score, but not being a pianist I'm not sure it's playable.

I’m thinking it’s the problem with the quantizing in the DAW that makes it play in straight division

Ho trascritto tutto perché mi servivano delle backing track per il sax soprano, flauto e chitarra. Sono tutti suoni midi, ma trattati con software per renderli molto verosimili. Ciao

Thanks! Actually this is a transcript for 2 acoustic guitars I play. I did it with a writing program, so I could simplify the score. But it sounds so good with a midi piano that I wanted to share it. Hello
