Shooters do not help with rebound control or throwing/clearing. That’s a strong misconception out there that we need to get rid of. Shooting strings guide the ball as it releases, they are not there to shape the pockets. If your tensioning your u shaped shooters to form a channel your throwing ability will suck. It’s just preference. A lot of elite goalies go no shooters at all as they dont make a difference really

Thanks for this. I do all my repairs to my fwd and goalie gear. In 5 mins I fixed my pulled away suspender anchor. Re used it and is secure. Again big thanks !! Keep up the great work!!

3:25 I personally would switch to a stiffer head, at the expense of an ounce or two. I think I give up more goals because the head bends, than I would with an ounce or two added on.
