Every pladtic surgeon says there way of harvesting and putting in fat is the right way for it to last. I've always heard that. Old story. Cheek implants are problematic depending on age even worse. Best to be conservative and go with longer term fillers. Don't pick a crazy popular doc that overdoses filler

Fat transfer or grafting does not last at all for most patients period. It may last if y9u do it monthly for a long time but definitely disappear in most. So there are pros and cons. I think face fillers are best from my own experience

Wow it really held up well after 11 years? Ofc a person ages after a facelift? But where this patient is now if they wanted a secondary facelift would you do it for them hypothetically and would it provide “more rejuvenation” and give them a more youthful face shape or form? Essentially making them look younger having a more defined youthful facial structure?

Do you operate on individuals who are taking products for weight loss? I.e., Wegovy or Zepbound?

Thank u Simon Cowell for showing us why we should never touch any form of plastic surgery be it filler, nose job etc. As a muslim it is forbidden in Islam to make any unnatural changes to our bodies, face included. Some of us may wonder why & unfortunately it's sad to see people resorting to these very expensive surgical procedures all because they can't handle getting old gracefully.

To anyone looking for a doctor to fix their crooked nose: It's almost impossible to correct which is why, if you look at most doctor's websites, you are lucky to see even one correction of a crooked nose--I'm sure they've attempted many more than one, but they will only show you the successful results. I had my septorhinoplasty done by a double board certified facial plastic surgeon and not only is my nose still crooked, but my breathing is absolutely no better! I also now have additional cosmetic concerns that I didn't have before. My advice is to leave your nose alone unless you literally can't breathe through your nose. So much of rhinoplasty is based on how your body heals. Unfortunately, a good doctor is not a guarantee of a good result.

Sometimes as a patient you don't learn what works and what doesn't until AFTER you have had the surgery. So then you might have to re-do it. It is so much easier today though, with lots of info online. Before the internet it was very hard to find info.

I have seen KZbin videos from a few surgeons that talk about an internal bra or similar.

Instead of “fracture,” less scary words would be notch or kerf.

Some of the things I have seen in YT videos: a high titanium dioxide content in the PMU ink can give chalky lips over time. Titanium oxide pigment can not be removed from the lips*. Iron oxide pigments in the PMU ink can become absorbed by the body in people with anaemia, leaving behind the other remaining pigments in the ink. The lip shade then changes when the iron oxide is missing. (* I don't know yet how they fix this when it can't be removed. Presumably they have to tattoo over it somehow).

Lots of people are vit. D deficient because we are mostly indoors these days. As you say, it doesn't matter if you live somewhere sunny if you're mostly indoors. Official guidelines really need to be adjusted for vit. D. It's too low as it is now.

Lots of people are anemic and/or iodine deficient too. I would think that vegetable Omega 3 is better since it is lower down on the food chain (less heavy metals than in fish oil). I have never heard anyone say that vegetable Omega 3 needs to be limited.
