My Grandmother was born in Killarney, County Kerry and moved to Cork City when she was 12, then Philadelphia when she was 16. She married my Grandfather a year later. They were married for a tragically-short 67 years and 7 children (my Mom was number 5). I can't listen to this one without thinking of them.

Jessie Burns is the greatest and fastest Gaelic Storm fiddler of ALL time!! Also, she is my good friend and boss. The reason why I call her my boss is because, I help her on fiddle most of the time.

Great to hear from you Bailee. It's been way too long since I've seen Jesse perform. I'm still waiting on her solo CD - like from when she and I talked last talked - Shamboozle 2 when she was pregnant with Rose.

I know they call her Bea, but Beatrice Rose Thorin translates into a fine stage name of Rose Thorin - and with her genetics...well...LOL. I hope this finds you well.

She has another child besides Beatrice, and her name is Dulcie. The reason why I know this is because, I hear from Jessie herself. She and I chat back and forth through email.

Please give her my best. Tell her I'm the guy from the Carolina's with the oxygen tank. She'll know who I am.

This video really helped me. Trying to teach myself to play the bagpipes, I've been trying to do it with my fingertips, even though the book said not to. Seeing someone else play was a big help.

Thanks. Originally I guessed at the title, since I couldn't find the song on any of their albums. Now I know it's a cover of a Dougie MacLean song.

Bailee, as best I can tell, he said "Is that it, Jessie". Whatever he said, seemed to surprise her! She gave him a shocked look and went back to her mic.

No, I didn't, but I did record Life Less Ordinary which I'll upload the first of next week. I keep coming back to this song. It takes me back 30 plus years and seeing Ian Anderson / Jethro Tull perform. This number could have come straight off their Aqualung album. It is classic rock sound from a great "current era" band.

You're welcome, Bailee. This is the last one. I have only a minute or 2 of Samurai and Durango that are useable. Do you know if Jessie plans to return after she has her baby? I would think not. GS won't be the same without her.
