This comment hit me right in the chest. My brother was 6 months old when my mom found out she was pregnant with me- a surprise 4th child when all the others had been planned. My parents were not interested in any more kids and had already scheduled my dad’s vasectomy. Because of that, I’ve always struggled with feeling unwanted and like a burden. So to hear how happy you were makes my heart so happy.
