Can you do this on an American crochet hook?? How would it work for a longer project like a scarf
@YanasCrochet29 күн бұрын
If the scarf is not too wide, maybe you can do it with a regular crochet hook, but still you would probably need a longer hook
@sockknytter23 күн бұрын
Yes, it very easy to do with an Afghan hook. There are 2 kinds. 1 has a hook with cord and a disc on the end of the cord The other is the afghan hook. Usually in a size 8. I often see them at Walmart and Joanns. There atea lotog vintage books and patterns for scarves. The technique 2as super popular in the 70' s. The blankets work up like long panels and the ate stitched together. @@YanasCrochet

I tried this but mine is curling up from the top and bottom what to do?
@YanasCrochet29 күн бұрын
Tunisian crochet has a tendency to curl up, using a bigger hook (crocheting not as tight) should help

I realy want to learn crochet i don't know how to start what should i buy as tools and materials can share with us some informations Thank you ❤
@YanasCrochetАй бұрын
Technically, all you need is a skein of yarn, medium weight, and a crochet hook, size recommended for that yarn, and you're good to go. And there are many youtube videos showing how to start. Good luck and have fun 😊
