Would a good counter to Wraithtomb be to let the Bonesinger live? Killing the Bonesinger gives the enemy a chance to pop out a new one with a fully charged Wraithtomb, but letting it live means they have to wait for cooldown.

The only exception to Eldar quitting when the fight has substantially been lost is when you are on a huge map. Specifically on the DC Bulwark map, you can march all your units and some builders into cloaked webways. Then have builders keep teleporting to build new webways and a new base if the enemy get lazy. They have to spread troops so thinly to search for the webways that you can bring out 8 squads from the webway to wipe their units, until they have time to come in with more firepower to destroy the webway. This gives you time to build more webways and then just hop right back when enemy firepower turns up. True Eldar fashion. I won from them loosing patience. As even if you only have 1-2 gates left, your opponent still don’t know that 😂

Losing land raider might have been the final nail, but also think they should have potentially gone Hellfire Dreads (deals with IG infantry grenade mass) -> Predator with las (tank damage and quickly take down IG vehicles) -> Whirlwind (Best IG infantry disruption). Land raider was them trying to do some damage control having missed the previous steps which could have helped stop IG dominance. You really need to be able to deal with the infantry mass and take out the artillery quickly, otherwise it is game. One on one Land Raider beats Baneblade if I remember correctly.

With little hope of an answer I guess.......what's the best approach on maps where you get instantly attacked from the get go?

On such maps it's better to go for Kroot first as they are better equipped at dealing with early harasses until the Fire Warriors can get out safely. It's also important to upgrade at least one of your LP's for extra defense to retreat to since Tau can't build any turrets. Vespids are always a great option for giving your opponent something to deal with as well since any rush by them will mean they won't have an army defending their base. And finally, use Snare Traps!!

Dark Eldar players, from one Archon to another, please use your vehicles more. There's no reason to March on foot through enemy territory when we have the fastest vehicles in the game... watching the Eldar player basically kite that DE push deeper into enemy fire made my brain itch.

Do I say it does? Cos if I did, oops 😂The "Reaver Targeting Module" upgrade in Dark Foundry gives them accuracy buff, not Soulseeker

@@jagusart Sorry, I think I may have misinterpreted. You said about the foundry upgrade if you're doing bikes then immediately mentioned the soul seeker upgrade and then the nightwing upgrade so I felt that may have all been in relation to the bikes. Probably my mistake.

IG is good and if you want to choose a 2v1 map, just pick any 4 player map. Don't choose Fortress - that map is horrible for a 2v1
