Two major mistakes, bro: 1. If you want to cast some unbelievable necron gameplay - cast den__superman. He is the menace of this game 2. Dont cast ork-necr on MoM. This is most disbalanced map for this match-up and nobody will ever play here on real tournament

My T'au😢 Loosing another favored match up once again. In 2024, T'au need to stop staying humiliated by opponent builders behind a listening post a whole game such in this. Especially when Necrons only need three of it to be fully operative. I gess the Nec match up would have been favored for T'au if there weren't flayed ones, wraiths, and Nec lord flash. The amount of wraith at the end of the this game sumed all😂.

What a set of matches! All of them featuring strategies from players one wouldn't typically see in the 'meta'. I'm completely stumped on how to counter Wraith spam as Tau, but that Monolith mic drop was fantastic. 😂

Over the many years of watching DoW casts (started on Astro's channels, then AlixUK, now Jagus & Duzzy), I'm pleased to see that the trend of referring to the rather bland and generic Space Marines Squads as Tactical Squads has firmly set itself in. It would be cool if the same could apply to the Heavy Weapons you can individually select for squad models, and start calling them Assault *or* Heavy to distinguish between those that do require a setup time and have their in-game counters, and those that don't + can be fired on the move. There is a direct correlation with the tabletop equivalents of these, so it is lore-friendly + it could help newer players better understand some mechanics and counters. Just a playful thought. Happy to see another upload and a fantastic, informative cast out of you, mate!

- Press delete twice to delete a building, instead of pressing delete then clicking on the green tick (2:12) - How do you queue jump + other actions (e.g. jump then attack)? Or jump + deploy (Falcon Grav Tank)? These don't seem to work using Shift + <...> - Does the 'move to and attack' will trigger chasing of the first enemy encountered, or it will use the unit settings (e.g. attack from stance)? - You can create teams with Ctrl+<number>, I am surprised how few people know this - 'Jagus move': when you move a unit, click at least 7 times on the same location to motivate them to run faster :D

IG General's stormbolter only has 50% accuracy, as opposed to the FC's and CL's 85% or Tau Commander's 70%, so even with the added bonus from the Priest, it's not a reliable source of DPS. It's not inherently *bad* but you can get frustratingly unlucky if e.g. you try to prevent a teleporting Bonesinger before he casts wraithtomb, firing at him, etc.

IG are top second race. They have so much the other races dont, that is disgusting. The assassin, the vehicles stun, the invulnerability the builder repairing scale, the baneblade, basilisks, leman russ... I mean stop. The building self defending, the tunnel between them to instantly drop unit there or there... Just stop. The Tau just never recovered from that t1 abuse because the truth is that when u have a lord dealing more domage than your, would it be at close combat or range, but with the ability to blast 40% of ur hp in a instant while all u can do back is a mosquito sting and set a traps the IG lord obviously can detect also, u are screwed. U are still screwed that the ig can produce komissar wich are basically, sub lords, AT TIER ONE to tie up ur squad on par with builders wich have INSANE hp amount with LORD ARMOR to tieng up u squad or building a turret who require T'au's commander plus three full fw squad to beat the IG builder repairing capability. I mean the Tau gets beaten tier one tier 2 tier 3 tier 4 it's pure xenos hatred 😂

On a serious note: IG has a negative win ratio against almost all factions (including Tau) except space marines, @Duzzyminister who is present in these comments uploaded a video on the subject. My opinion: the skill ceiling for piloting IG is very high and all these things you talk about can be used by the IG player, however vast majority of the playerbase will make one mistake fighting dark reapers/fire warriors and lose 2 or 3 guardsmen squads and the game.

I honestly think Tau win most of the time vs IG. A lot of good IG player don't like playing vs Tau. Most of the time it would depend on if Tau went Vespids + TC first, if he does not, the MU might be more in IG's favor. Also I don't think tier-2 is easy for IG either, lots of powerfull range from Tau and anti vec is also painfull for IG as well. Most Tau players are clue on what they're doing, but the best will beat even some of the best IG players.

@@Duzzyminister files would say the mu is 50\50 but my experience and feeling tend to say otherwise. I obviously had some wins but i mostly remember the painful loses. That first game sumed it all. An IG lord u just cant stop from riping ur nor TC, your FW, XV25 and your gen. Every IG units including the housemaids and cats u cant stop from closing ur units. The basilisks booming ur infantery that u can hardly destroy since the IG base is full of turrets and buildings who serve as so (maybe mines to spicing it). IG t2 outrange the Tau's one with those sandbag dudes who obliterate everything it move with disgusting dps and the basilisks since Tau don't have deepstrikes nor turrets nor mines nor even descent dps from our upgraded lp... Vespids TC opener doesn't work since age since it has become the most easy thing to defend against would it be by placing the gen against an lp having a builder nearby, placing mines nearby and using the insane building defense. Not even mentioning uping the lp. Vesp + TC forces the Tau to going for a gen which can lead to a fast lose if it doesn't pay of. What are we talking about when we're saying T'au isn't a good mu for IG ? Like IG doesn't have holidays playing against them ? Or IG are forced to concentrate a bit, lol ? I mean i often hear that story about the close match but i ALWAYS watch the Tau player blatantly lose by the exact reason i am complaining about. Still thx for the work👍 I know i sound biter but only against the balance. It's just a game at the end of the day

From the ages i was playing (6 years from now) the community was putting IG slightly under Eldars which are the most powerful race. Mad Destar recently rated them B tiers kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZPac2aHrptkjLssi=hQcYy0koaJw65G4U I think IG still require skill and knowledge that would explain average players drowning the stats. T'au in another hand if they may exange against IG, are definitely under tier than IG with awful match-up such in DE, Orks, Nec and really picky to play with expensive fragile units highly micro demanding when IG are fragile but expendables.

@@sh0bohoso280 It's okay to be bitter about the game, I feel the same thing playing SM vs Eldar or DE. And regarding the IG vs Tau matchup, I usully refer and listen to good IG players and what they think. AlixUK once stated that he thinks Vespids+TC is the worst opening to go up against as IG. Also the vespids forces IG to not just go on the offence, but actually fight off the vespids. IG LP does not deal mutch dmg either without it being upgraded and vespids can change taget many times and does not just have to go for gens. MOM is a good vespid map for example. Karisvenner, AlixUK and even Astrohero have stated that the matchup is problematic. I am not an expert in the MU either, but I do have my references.

I think Dark Elder could have benefited from a Raider or two in order to bust those turrets while the Wytches and Mandrakes chase off the Marines. They also rushed through their tiers way too quickly and didn't have the economy to maintain it.
