Hpi has metal gears in transmission and is better for upgrades longevity.

Old thread, but... that is NOT a waterproof ESC! I had to replace mine with the Orion Vortex R8 WP ESC that IS waterproof (slight false advertising by Kyosho there...). Great truck though, and you may need to explore the axle and suspension arm upgrades (to full aluminium). Love it.

You might have to change motor mount. I think Amain has one

Fully moded but it still has the stock arms lol I would include a mmp castle. vxl are overrated, so you still have a lot of upgrading to do

Please tell me where you got the wire harness'. I need a Y harness to power my front lights and a cooling fan. Also, FYI, they make a rubber body clip holder were you only need to drill one hole and it comes in different colors. Don't remember who makes it, sorry.

I have buy the 1/8 vrx 2e and i am very pleased, but this brand does not have a site to see the informations. Only the vrxracing.it i have see but it's in italian. So make more videos about the vrx models, i want to buy the DT5 EBD and the spirit buggy , but i must know if they have metal gears.

If you move the ESC, can you actually use a dual motor setup in this? There`s a space there, so I`m thinking, dual motors with higher kv for more powaaah! :D

mebs its your new transmitter adding to the cost but i have a slash with all the same upgrades but i have aluminum bellcranks, proline powerstroke shocks, and rpm front a-arms and i must have only spent like 750-800 bucks. just curios why this cost soooo damn much
