At first I agreed with the popular opinion but my own WHITE husband who doesn’t speak any desi languages explained it to me and it clicked. She didn’t want to be a tawaiff, let alone act like one. Her character expressed her emotions through poetry. That’s why she wasn’t as dramatic, angry, revengeful nor ecstatic. That was a part of her character. So she fulfilled Alamzeb with a lot of justice. She said her character was nothing like her in real life so it must have been so difficult so I think she did amazing due to her characters emotional limitations that were intentionally executed the way she did. She did phenomenal!!!
