I have saved tons of money by using key sites. Never got scammed. Never got my games deleted. It was totally worth it.

I pirate every AAA game, since they're all woke. Indie games i buy if it has multiplayer options, to play w the homies, otherwise probably pirating it too, unless is really good.

Damn didn't know thats how G2A worked, I just assumed people bought in bulk during sales and resold them later when the sales went away.

I only buy from Steam sales or legit third party resellers (mostly Humble.) The most grey area thing I'll do is trade bundled games I don't like or need on the steam trades site. Traded with over 50 different people so far, with quite a few repeat trades with the same user. Been smooth sailing so far, always received working keys that they bought from the same legit bundle sites.

I buy game pass ultimate each month for couple bucks cuz it's ridiculous that we went from free online on ps3 to 10 bucks per month just to play online No wonder pc is more popular

ok @KingOfKarma 8:00 that's just not true, toy story 3 on pc is terrible they ported over the wii version which removed a ton of content from the original console releases on ps3 and xbox360, the only good experience you can have of the game is emulating either of those consoles and playing on pc. fake fan.

Only time when I used these sites was when I wanted to buy Windows. When I compared prices on MS and on resellers I haven't hesitate. I will always choose resellers for overpriced software. Always. Games? Nah not worth it. Well maybe in case of woke studios like ubislop I will buy from resellers.

Honestly I almost always use key sites or repack I have not paid full price for a game in years.

Some games may seem deliciously low, but those are usually EPIC, Ubisoft and Rockstar copies. That low because they're worth nothing. No one wants the game on those storefronts.

Minecraft on the Windows Store where do I live is $40, but cdkeys had it at $8, how? I dunno, but worked, also there are local sites selling Minecraft for $20, Im not sure but I think they resell the cdkeys keys for profit

You forgot to mention that most grey market sellers on G2A just obtain non region locked keys bought from regions that are cheaper than NA market pricing.

My only question then. How did they obtain the keys in the first place to resell? Since the key wasn't activated, the dev would only get one purchase worth of money, so why do devs care if it was resold? I'm asking genuinely, and I know that some keys are given out for free, and reselling that is kinda scummy.

Does this also hold true for gift cards (say psn gift cards)? They generally are sold there for the asking price (if not a bit more expensive sometimes)
