Are you going to be at Koteewi on Sunday? I set that Spig zt rest up on my bow today. Just wanting someone to give it a second look. I’m definitely iffy on getting the plunger set just right.

I will be there and be happy to take a look at it.

Thanks man. I have no idea if I’ve got the right plunger tension or not. Fletched and bare shafts are flying pretty darn good though.

I used a heat gun for my JD3 grip for Das 17” riser… same issues you’re having and it opened up and fit perfect after that.

I'm about to purchase the same setup.. the ht21 and 3k carbon bamboo limbs.. What poundage 3k limbs would you recommend, for me to arrive at give or take 40, with a 31.5 draw length? Going off what you've said, I'd imagine the 35s will bring me over, perhaps to 45? Which may be more then im looking for.. So I'm contemplating the 29 lb limbs. But I don't know that they'll get me as close to 40 as I'd like to be. Any insight you can give me, regarding that same setup, at a 31.5 draw length, would be mega appreciated! Thank you again brother!
@Stackedoutdoorsman4 ай бұрын
If you really want to get to 40 you might have to get different limbs. I have another pair of bamboo core limbs that come in 2 pound increments. That might be what you need to do. Right now I’m shooting the Hoyt satori 21” riser and a set of 38# WNS bamboo core limbs that I painted. And I’m getting 42# out of it
@richardlarson37594 ай бұрын
Okay, right on! What poundage do you think I'd end up with at 31.5 with those 35lb 3k limbs? If you had to guess? I don't need super precise, regarding what Im looking for.. I'm just looking for close to 40. Either just slightly under 40.. or over by a couple pounds.. But basically, I just don't want to be pushing 50lbs. Thank you for being so helpful!

I like them, but they are loud. But that's to be expected of carbon and bamboo

I bought a Samick discovery bow with 45 lb foam carbon, thought the were a little strong but didn’t check till two weeks ago. Called three rivers and got Jake or Luke can’t remember. What a bunch of B. S. He tried to feed me. I’m 73 and have been doing this a long time.called about a month ago about longbow limbs same thing , guy didn’t know squat. Think I’m done with them.

Thankyou. These have been on my radar for awhile now. Very good review. I had several sets of DAS bamboo/glass and maple/glass and all of them were flawless. Great sharing this. I too support 3R. Good guys over there!

I shot a set of these limbs in 3D competitions in 2021 and 2022 and also in the Senior Games in Florida in 2022. I will say they are very good limbs. They are smooth, quiet and as fast as any limbs I have shot. They can be bought from 3Rivers.

Do you add a half inch? Like I usually shoot 30". But is the outsert 1/2 inch? Thx
@Stackedoutdoorsman2 жыл бұрын
I do not use the halfout I would only use the HIT insert but if I was going to use the halfout I would cut my arrow the same length and test everything and see what kind of flight you are getting. Tuning.
