These were such great tips, I took 3 years in high school and loved it but didn’t practice and lost a lot. I was able to relearn the vocab fast but struggle to apply what I know in conversation! Thank you for these tips!

I'm trilingual and, seriously, I try to watch soap operas in my target language. I do this because of how much of the dialogue is based on relationships, on work, and the home. Pretty much all the day to day necessities. Well done on your determination and results.

I look forward to your videos. I love the honey garlic tip. I used to do a rose petal honey infusion, but garlic is perfect for the fall. Thank You. 💖

I’m from Colombia and I came to the states 3 years ago only knowing the colors and numbers lol. I didn’t know anything else. I haven’t gone to English classes either. When I was at school I used to practice in duolingo and I would say that it really helps. Duolingo teach you the very firsts words and how to make small sentences. Today I speak the language. I learned it only with immersion. I have been surrounded by only English speakers (my bosses and I only date men who don’t speak Spanish). And that really helped me so much!!! At the first I was embarrassed but with the time you will get more confidence in yourself, I like when someone correct me so I can speak it better. I also follow on IG, Threads, and Facebook, a lot of accounts that are in English, I like to read articles and watch movies in English with subtitles in English. Nowadays I speak fluent English and still improving everyday. The consistency is the key!

! Wow, it’s so funny to see someone who has sort of the same path as me in learning spanish. I grew up in Southern California and although I picked up very basic words and slang, I was not proficient enough to carry a conversation. I moved across the country and also work at a grocery store w/ many spanish speaking people as well. It’s very encouraging and such a fulfilling experience to be able to help people in their native language. I’ve found that people are generally very supportive and very grateful to someone who is trying their hardest. I loved this video thank you so much for your recommendations and advice. ¡Que tenga un buen día! ❤

Duolingo helps so much with vocab, after a 663 days streak I realized I couldn’t formulate sentences well. I then joined Preply around 2 months ago with a one on one teacher. I’ve come such a far way already I believe in 6 months I’ll be able to be fluent enough to have casual conversations.

Solo llevo un poco más de ocho meses aprendiendo español y siempre recuerdo tu consejo…. Nunca dejar de aprender español. Estoy muy orgullosa de mí mismo porque nunca creí que podría hablar español así. Gracias por tus videos. Me has ayudado mucho!!!!❤ …… Tengo treinta y nueve años. Todavía no puedo creer que pueda hablar un poco de español!!! PS: crees que es posible para entender cuando los nativos hablan tan rápido? 😮💨
